Summer Research Program 

  • Summer Research Program provide important insights into how research is done and support for early career researchers to carry out independent research to be a successful researcher.

  • Summer research programs provide the chance to work with international research experts and experience research first-hand. 

  • During this 12 week program, early career researchers conduct research and participate in discussions with UK research experts, build their presentation and research skills, and take part in research methodology workshops. Due to COVID-19 restriction, summer workshops will be held on virtual platforms. 

  • Aarogyam's summer research program focused on Complementary medicine, Alternative therapies, Integrative Medicine and Interdisciplinary research in health, social care and community support.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Early career researchers (Master's; PhD students; Practitioners who would like to conduct first independent research are eligible to apply.

  • English language proficiency is required. 

  • Additional requirements vary per research area of interest. 

  • Participants based in India or like to take up research in collaboration of India

Program Overview

  • Register your interest sending your CV and Research Outline 

  • Selected participants will be provided a Principal Investigator and CO-Investigator (UK and India) to wok with. 

  • Participants will be developing their research idea through weekly research workshops and hand on experience to do the work with local partners. 

  • Over the 12-weeks, participants will do ethical application, protocol/ project writing, grant application, to data management, data analysis, research paper writing. 

  • Dates: Deadline to apply- June 1, 2021

Program Dates: 5th June - 21st August 2021

  • Tuition Fee: £6k is waived for successful applicants from Aarogyam (UK) CIC for research training and project. A non-refundable £550 application fee is required though to cover the cost of local organisations including insurance, data management and publication.
