About the seminar


"New Approaches in building evidence base for Integrative Traditional Medicine"


There are many challenges to developing an evidence base for Integrative Traditional Medicine. This research seminar will be focused on the innovations in clinical research that have successfully been applied to the Traditional Medicine and Integrative Medicine. Such innovations include developments in Whole Systems Research, Comparative Effectiveness Research, Health Services Research, and qualitative Social Sciences Research. Each of these approaches expands upon conventional approaches to clinical research and can also be combined with clinical trial data to yield a mixed-methods approach.

The Spring seminar covers different topics from Traditional Medicine and encourages researchers and practitioners to submit their original contributions related to


  • Traditional Medicine

  • Yoga therapy

  • Complementary and Alternative Medicine

  • Integrative Medicine and Health

  • Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine

  • Ayurveda

  • Homeopathy

  • Unani and Siddha Medicine

  • Tribal and Folk Medicine


Abstract Submission guideline


Abstracts submitted to the research seminar should be written in English only.

  1. Authors can submit their abstracts in Doc, Docx and Pdf format.

  2. Any act of plagiarism is totally unacceptable.

  3. Each abstract should be strictly within 1 page in length, contains about 250 words.

  4. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

  5. Along with abstract, recent head-shot photograph of good resolution and short biography (up to 100 words) must be included.

  6. The abstract submission can be made via emailing the abstract at research@aarogyamuk.org

  7. Notification of acceptance or rejection of the Scientific Committee will be given after a week of submission.

  8. The submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed, accepted and will be published into official journal, Global Journal of Integrative Medicine without any processing fee.
