Our Priority Areas
Our patient education programs are focused on influencing patient behavior and producing the changes in knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to maintain or improve health. Effective patient education also ensures that patients have sufficient information and understanding to make informed decisions regarding their care.
Our advocacy leadership trainings that are designed to give people from the community the tools, the experience, and the network to be effective advocates for common good. We work to equipping people with the skills they need in order to evaluate public policy, build bridges between communities, and advocate for the common good.
Early Career Research
We aim to provide early career researchers with world-class training in the prevention, treatment and community care. Our early-career researcher (ECR) training program provides the foundations upon which members can build their own successful programs of research. In addition, researchers are provided with opportunities to develop their leadership and management skills.
The Mentorship Program provides the opportunity for student to choose their area of interest and join an off-campus researcher and their team in an ongoing or independent research project to further their skills as a thinker/maker/doer. Student engagement in research and innovation opportunities is one of prominent avenues Aarogyam carries out.
