Lead Community Outreach
Usha Solanki is widely recognised for her expertise in community health promotion and her sector leadership as demonstrated by her twenty-year contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of people in local community.
At Aarogyam, Usha Solanki leads a broad agenda spanning sport and physical activity, healthy eating, mental wellbeing, family support groups and community discussion groups. She has been working with children with special needs and supporting their families with her multi-disciplinary experience and expertise for more than a decade.
She is genuinely committed to putting equity at the heart of Aarogyam’s work. Her expertise in engagement and communications has put her on front line in community programs. She has held a range of executive and leadership roles focusing on strategic planning and communications, public affairs, social groups, behaviour change campaigns, project management. Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing, Usha’s achievements have influenced practice across health, sport, education and community settings within Aarogyam (UK) and internationally. She has a background in Yoga, Vedas, health promotion and organisational leadership.
